Project support
Everest aluminum system support for architects, builders and developers
Design teams and contractors need different things from a supplier than a homeowner does. They need a system identified early enough to design around, a schedule reviewed before it is issued, and someone to coordinate submittals and delivery against a live programme. This page describes how that support works and what we need in order to be useful rather than decorative.
Everest architectural aluminum systems for projects in Colorado, New York and California — product selection, estimating and project coordination through Gloria Glass, with Denver, New York City and Los Angeles as the principal target markets.
Who this is for
- Architects and specifiers developing a glazing package
- General contractors buying out an envelope or window and door scope
- Developers assessing envelope options during feasibility and design development
- Owner's representatives comparing bids and needing them made comparable
Common project applications
- Design-development system selection for residential and commercial projects
- Window and door schedule review before issue for tender
- Bid-package support where competing quotes need to be aligned
- Submittal and shop-drawing coordination during construction
- Value-engineering exercises where the envelope has to be reworked to a budget
The value of choosing a system family early
Detailing a glazed opening without a system in mind produces drawings that no system quite fits. Sightlines, frame depths, sill build-ups, threshold heights and structural allowances all vary between families, and every one of them shows up in the wall section. Identifying a family during design development lets the details be drawn once.
It does not lock the project in. Families can be substituted later if the drawings were dimensioned honestly and the assumptions were recorded. What causes trouble is detailing to no system at all and discovering the discrepancy during shop drawings.
Making competing bids comparable
The most common reason two envelope bids differ substantially is that they are not quoting the same thing. One includes perimeter sealing and the other does not; one assumes stock lengths and the other cut-to-size; one prices a finish match and the other prices a finish name. Aligning the scope before pricing is the fastest way to a meaningful comparison, and our RFQ checklist guide sets out the fields that need to be fixed.
What we do not claim
Gloria Glass provides product selection, estimating and project coordination for Everest architectural aluminum systems on projects in its Colorado, New York and California service regions. We do not provide engineering services, code approval, certification or tested performance data, and we do not publish lead times or pricing in advance of a specific inquiry. Project-specific requirements are confirmed with the applicable jurisdiction and the project's design professionals.
What we need to prepare a budget
- Drawings at whatever stage they exist, including elevations and plans
- A window and door schedule, or the intent to produce one
- Project location, building type and number of storeys
- Programme milestones, especially the target close-in date
- Any performance intent the design team has already established
- Whether the package will be supply only or supply with installation coordination
- Who holds responsibility for structural, thermal and code review on the project
Supply only or coordinated installation
Support is available across both routes: supply only into a contractor's scope, or supply with installation coordinated as part of the project scope. Gloria Glass does not act as engineer of record and does not perform code review; project-specific requirements are confirmed with the applicable jurisdiction and the project's design professionals.
Glazing, hardware and finish coordination
- System family selection is settled early, because it constrains sightlines, opening sizes and detailing that the drawings then depend on.
- Schedules are reviewed field by field for the omissions that stall pricing — missing hinge sides, unstated finishes, unconfirmed glazing.
- Submittals are tracked against the construction programme rather than produced on request.
- Interfaces with adjacent trades — framing, waterproofing, finishes — are identified in writing at the scope stage.
- Delivery sequencing is planned against the site's ability to receive and store the material.
What must be verified before specification
Nothing on this page is a commitment about a specific project. Each item below is confirmed for the project in front of us before anything is specified or ordered.
- That the intended family and configurations are available for the project's sizes and timing
- Which party is responsible for structural, thermal and code review on the project
- Whether any testing, certification or documentation is required by the project or jurisdiction
- That schedule dimensions are field-verified before release for fabrication
- Glazing, finish and hardware selections against the family's actual offering
- Site logistics, access and storage against the delivery sequence
Availability, final specifications, certification, engineering requirements, glazing, finish, delivery and project suitability are confirmed for each project.

Project regions
Gloria Glass works on projects in Colorado, New York and California, with Denver, New York City and Los Angeles as its principal target markets. Its verified principal office is in Littleton, Colorado; there is no office, showroom, warehouse or inventory in New York or California.
Denver & Colorado
Front Range projects: altitude and solar exposure, diurnal temperature swing, wind and snow detailing at sills and thresholds.
Region pageNew York City
Dense urban work: building access and hoisting, freight and lobby restrictions, occupied-building sequencing and unit-size limits.
Region pageLos Angeles
Indoor–outdoor architecture: wide sliding openings, flush thresholds, coastal exposure and finish durability.
