Custom Projects
Custom Frameless Glass Solutions
Project-specific frameless glass for unusual openings, architectural features, and one-off details.

Some projects don't fit inside a standard product line. A curved staircase, an unusual opening geometry, an oversized panel, or a specialty feature can all call for a more custom approach. Gloria Glass takes on custom frameless glass work for residential and commercial projects where the details need to be shaped around the space rather than the other way around.
Custom work still uses proven systems, hardware, and fabrication partners — the difference is that the layout, sizing, and detailing are project-specific.
What qualifies as a custom glass project
A project is typically considered custom when panel sizes, geometry, structural conditions, or hardware requirements fall outside stock configurations. This includes oversized panels, non-rectangular shapes, integrated architectural details, and unusual anchoring conditions.
Residential applications
- Curved or angled staircase railings
- Wine room walls and display features
- Oversized shower or steam-room enclosures
- Interior glass features integrated with millwork
- Skylight-adjacent or angled openings
Commercial applications
- Feature walls in lobbies and hospitality spaces
- Curved or shaped retail displays
- Custom conference-room enclosures
- Amenity-space partitions with unusual geometry
- Specialty hospitality installations
Glass types and finishes
Custom projects can specify low-iron glass, laminated glass, colored or back-painted glass, decorative textures, applied films, and specialty coatings. The right combination depends on the feature's purpose, safety requirements, and design intent.
Hardware and mounting options
Anchoring options range from base-shoe systems and standoff mounts to concealed channels and specialty hinges and pivots. Hardware finish, hinge weight, and door operation are chosen to fit both the design and the physical demands of the panel.
Site measurement and planning
Custom projects put extra weight on measurement and planning. We do detailed on-site measurements, review structural conditions, and confirm access and installation approach before fabrication begins.
Fabrication coordination
Gloria Glass coordinates fabrication with proven glass fabricators and hardware suppliers. Panels are cut, tempered, and finished based on the project drawings, then delivered for installation.
Installation process
Installation is scheduled once fabrication is complete and site conditions are confirmed. Larger or specialty panels may require additional site access planning, crane or lift use, or off-hours installation.
