An interior glass wall is a fixed or operable set of glass panels used to divide space. Systems range from fully frameless single-glazed walls with minimal top and bottom channels to more substantial framed or double-glazed partitions used where acoustics matter more.

Framed versus frameless systems

Frameless systems favor a clean, minimal look with slim top and bottom channels. Framed systems use visible mullions, either slim profile or more traditional, and typically offer more options for double glazing, acoustic performance, and integrated blinds. The choice depends on aesthetics, budget, and performance needs.

Privacy, decorative, and acoustic options

Glass options include clear, low-iron, frosted, reeded, textured, and back-painted finishes, as well as applied films and switchable smart glass in some cases. Acoustic performance depends on the glass type, framing, seals, doors, ceiling conditions, and selected partition system — standard frameless walls with clear glass are not soundproof.

Door and hardware options

Glass doors can be single, double, sliding, or pivot, with a wide range of pulls, patches, and locks. Hinges and floor closers are selected based on door size, weight, and use frequency.

Project planning and installation

We coordinate with designers, architects, and contractors on drawings, measurements, and delivery. Installation timing depends on trade sequencing on the job site — partitions typically go in after flooring and ceiling work are largely complete.
