What the Colorado climate actually asks of an aluminum system

Three conditions come up repeatedly on Front Range projects. The first is solar intensity: high altitude and a large number of clear days put more energy on south and west elevations than the same building would see at sea level, which pushes glazing selection toward controlling gain without killing daylight. The second is the diurnal swing — warm afternoons and cold nights across much of the year — which makes the thermal behaviour of the framing itself something occupants notice. The third is wind, which varies enormously between a sheltered metro lot and an exposed foothill site.

None of these have a universal answer, and none of them are settled by a product page. They are the reasons a specification conversation for a Denver project looks different from one for a coastal project, and they are why we ask about orientation, elevation and exposure before discussing systems.

What we do contribute is product knowledge and coordination: identifying which system families are plausible for the project, what information the design team needs to specify them, and what has to be confirmed before anything is ordered.

How this fits with our existing Colorado glass work

Gloria Glass already provides frameless and architectural glass services across the Colorado Front Range, from measurement and fabrication coordination through installation. A project can use one, the other, or both — and we will say plainly which route suits a given scope.
