Builder Shower Replacement
Frameless enclosures replacing framed builder units in repeat floor plans.

Service Area · Highlands Ranch, CO
Highlands Ranch is a large master-planned community under community-association governance. Interior glass is the owner's decision; anything visible outside usually goes through review first — and that sequence, not fabrication, sets the schedule.
Local Introduction
Nearly all of Highlands Ranch was built from the early 1980s onward to a small number of builder plans, which produces an unusual pattern in glass work: the same handful of conditions recur across thousands of homes. A framed builder shower in a plan built in 1998 has broadly the same curb height, bench position and tile setout as the identical plan two streets away. That helps at survey — the likely detail is recognisable early — but it never removes the site measure, because tile setout and wall plumb still vary house by house.
The governing constraint is the community association. Exterior changes — deck guards, patio enclosures, anything altering the elevation — are typically subject to design review, and the timescale of that review usually determines the project programme far more than lead time on the glass does. Interior work such as shower enclosures, stair guards and partitions generally sits outside review, and that difference is worth establishing at the first conversation, because it changes what can be committed to and when.

Local FAQ
Assume it does until confirmed otherwise. Exterior changes visible from outside the home are commonly subject to design review, and requirements are set by the association, not by us. The owner confirms what applies and obtains approval; we prepare the specification and dimensions the submission needs, and hold fabrication until it is granted.
Generally not. Shower enclosures, stair guards, interior partitions and mirrors are inside the home and typically fall outside design review. It remains the owner's responsibility to confirm that with their association, particularly in attached or multi-family properties.
It gets the specification and the likely hardware right, and it is genuinely useful at the estimating stage. It does not replace the site measure. Tile setout, curb slope and wall plumb differ enough between identical plans that fabricating from another house's dimensions is how glass ends up not fitting.
The tile and pan usually stay; the framed enclosure itself does not carry over. A heavier frameless panel changes where load goes, so blocking behind the tile and the fixing substrate are checked at survey before the hinge type is settled.
